White Fillings
Wouldn't you rather have white fillings? With today's technology, white fillings (composites and inlays) can easily withstand the stress required to serve as a filling in a back tooth. Our patients now overwhelmingly prefer these fillings because of the way they look and feel, and because they strengthen weak teeth. There is a growing concern about the safety of mercury (silver/black) fillings. We offer a replacement of the fillings with mercury-free white fillings, which are also more pleasing to the eye.
A tooth looks more natural and beautiful after removing the amalgam and replacing it with a bonded white filling. Besides looking better, this tooth is now more resistant to fracture.
